Day, Unspectacular

A Picture of this blog before its posting.

And today was a day just like any other...
"I'm Ready", Jack's Mannequin

Pre-School Day
I woke up to my sister opening my door and asking me "Are you going to get up?" Clearly I was going to get up, but I say "Yeah, what time is it?" "It's 7:18."
Great. We leave the house at 7:25. So, after muttering a few explicatives under my breath, I have just enough time to throw on some clothes and head out the door. No doing that Spanish that I had meant to get up in the morning and do. So I take a late grade, worse things have happened.
The whole reason Sylvia had to get me up at 7:18 is completely absurd. Last night before going to sleep I turned the volume on my phone all the way up so I could hear the alarm. The part I forgot was to turn the alarm on. I guess you kind of have to do that if you want it to go off.
Who would've guessed it?
School Day, Before Lunch
We took notes and did a case problem in Business Law. We discussed preterite vs imperfect tenses in Spanish IV. PE was so uneventful that I won't discuss it. HIGH POINT OF THE DAY: We sang Battle Hymn of the Republic and God Save the Children in chorus in preparation for Greenville. English: A study worksheet over Act II of Macbeth.
Lunch
Lunch was interesting. Listened to Matt and Noah talk about enemas. Yeah, at lunch. But! another bright spot in the day also occurred at lunch. We had a very interesting mock conversation about photo-shopping the Holocaust out of existence. It wasn't politically correct but it was entertaining.
School Day, After Lunch
Math: Notes on hyperbolas (and passing a note with Alexis). Bible as Literature (the class is a joke as it is): power point presentations on Christmas traditions around the world. (I know, seriously.) German: We went over helping verbs. And in activity period? We all listened to Gabriel and Aislinn discuss Pokemon and how they should stop creating new ones.

And that was my day. It was the epitome of average.
Not unpleasant, not fantastic.
It was merely a day.

chorus was the highlight? lame. That song was a total downer.
