Theoretically, they are FANTASTIC, but three day weekends aren't THAT much of a treat, really.
Yeah, when you have Friday off you are pretty psyched thinking "Hey, I still have two whole days!"
But then, Saturday all but flies by, and it's Sunday. You know it's Sunday. It feels like Sunday. And you know your weekend is over. Inevitably, that's how it happens. What is this phenomena? Why does it occur? Well, to answer this question, I've constructed a mathematical model...just kidding. This is me. Am I really going to construct a mathematical model about anything if it isn't required (or, sadly, even if it IS required, sometimes...)?
No, I just find it interesting how we can have a whole extra day, and feel as if we haven't.
By interesting, I kind of mean inconvenient.
Still, interesting, all the same.
