Well, hey.

Today, I did not wake up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy.

However, I did wake up feeling like the day would go alright. And it did, all in all.
Yesterday was just short of a Hell-fest. Misunderstandings that were upsetting dove-tailing my getting sick and going home early. I just want to throw this out there: high school drama is ridiculous. If you are a perpetrator in starting or taking part in this, stop. Sometimes even bestfriends question the integrity of their bestfriends. It happens. But if you are lucky you find out that there is a misunderstanding somwhere. Sometimes there are road bumps and pot holes and monkey wrenches and elephants in the room. And sometimes, a really cool kid in a town two hours away plays mediator and has a genuine interest in seeing a situation play out. But, I believe in things working out for the best. It's kind of how I am.

Here is a word that I want anyone who reads this (and even those who don't) to receive:
I am genuine. I will do what it takes to always be true to myself, and those I love.
And if you are reading this, and you know me, I guarantee that I love you.

we can brave the elements.
take what life throws our way.
we can be all that we are,
and we'll always be.

we know who we are.
what we want.
who and what matters in our lives.

live it.

taking what life throws our way.
we will be all we are.

Try not to create doubt in that brilliant mind of yours. Life is too short to not be happy as much as possible. Don't sweat the small stuff. Hang tough you were born with a heart of steel.
