In regards to the poem I said was on the way: Well, a piece really is started, I promise. I just have to finish it. And I'm not real excited about it. So, maybe a longer wait on that than we thought? Sincerest apologies!!
An Excursion.
Last night I went to Terre Haute with some friends of mine. (Siena, Sydney, Tanner, and Amanda to be precise.)
My whole reason for going along was to stop by Pacesetters and get a certain hat for a certain girl who is going to a certain country next week. But you see...we went to the mall first. At the mall, we stopped at Hot Topic (we are all Hot Topic kids. Well...not Sydney so much... *shrug*). In this store I decided to buy the new HIM album, which I am listening to as I type this. I almost bought a book at the bookstore called "I Judge You When You Use Bad Grammar". I was really close. Maybe I will next time.
Next comes IHOP, where I had fantastic garden-stuffed crepes. Well, after we had finished up at IHOP, Pacesetters (which is right across the street) was closed. (!!!) We could see the closed sign as soon as we walked out, which was bummer-ish. However, I'll see about getting over to Terre Haute soon, and we'll see about that hat. Anywho, after leaving IHOP we went down to Wal-Mart. The objective here was to find travel size bottles for taking along on a trip that Sydney and Siena needed. With this goal accomplished we left Wal-Mart and began our journey back towards Marshall. It was a fun little trip, even if my main goal was not met.
An Idea
So, I want to sing "Lindsey Quit Lollygagging" at prom. However, I do not play piano and don't know who I would have do that part. Now, enter my friend Paige. She DOES play the keys, and actually learned to play that song just a few weeks ago. So, I think I could take Paige to prom? I've got to work out how we are going to work the whole Alexis/Kelsey/Chelsea situation on that, though. You know? If you don't know that situation, just ask. I'll explain. I want everyone to be happy!
A Closing
This has been a fairly long post. After typing this up I thought about splitting it into multiple blogs, since I talk about a lot of unrelated stuff. But then I remembered...my copy and paste doesn't work! How great! And retyping all of that wasn't going to happen. So a long post it is!
