Summer work. Summer camp. Summer Reading. Summer!

Summer is officially here. I mean, not OFFICIALLY according to the calendar. According to THAT it won't be summer until June 21st or something crazy. But school is out (and I'm graduated!). And the weather certainly says summer is here. It's been pretty warm, to say the least. I'm excited about summer. I'm not so excited about detasseling or the fact that I'll have to plan seeing the beautiful Madeline around about forty camps, but those things aren't that consequentiel. It's good money, and it won't be THAT bad, the seeing Madeline thing. We'll manage. :) We are on a reading schedule together. While she is reading a Spellman novel by Lisa Lutz, I will be reading one of John Irving's books, and vice versa. I just finished "The Spellman Files" and she should be finishing "The Hotel New Hampshire" any time now. With 4 books out in the Spellman series that will be 8 books. Mr. Irving's novels are all quite large, so that will probably cover us for summer reading, I would think. Who knows if we'll even get through them this summer? Like I said detasseling and camps. We'll be busy kids. But we will see. Again, I'll reiterate. Summer is a grand concept, and I'm ready :)

My dear friend...
In your plethora of words, one of your words is not correct. Contrary to popular belief, the correct term for a person who plays flute is a flautist. I know how much proper English is important.
