So. Here's the breakdown...

So, as much as I seem to present my SPED 226 class in a negative light, I really do appreciate it. Yes, a class from 4-6:50 pm is not my idea of a great way to spend the afternoon. But it's interesting. I think when Pam Burgess gets outside her area of expertise she starts to fumble a bit. Unfortunately her area of expertise is teaching kindergartners but.... I'm half-kidding. She did teach kindergarten for years and is now in the special education field. The discussion is often interesting even if she does flub things and stretches information sometimes....whatever! What I am really trying to say is the class doesn't altogether suck!

After SPED I had dinner and then went to work out. Good stuff. I am not falling over tired but I can feel it and it feels good to be able to feel my muscles working. Tomorrow I have a job interview at 11:30. Wish me luck on that! I'm excited. Then I am going to go to Erickson Hall to turn in the second application to be a New Student Orientation Leader this summer. Passed the first level, now it's on to the group interview for that. Again, luck!

I have one last piece of good news, and that is that I was contacted to as a potential APA (Academic Peer Advisor) for the Honor's Program next year. Which basically means I'd have 15-30 incoming freshman in the Honor's program with whom it would be my job to make sure they are adapting well. If they have any questions about anything they would come to me to help them out. That kind of deal. I'm pumped!  All kinds of breaks within the last couple days! That's what you get when you work to reach your goals. I'm finding that out and it's feeling awesome.

Hey. I love you.
Smile for me.
And then smile for yourself.
Stay golden.
