Today, my friend Morgan Miller brought me a carpet for my dorm room. He works at a carpet place and was able to get a remnant for my room rather cheap, and now my room feels a lot more homey.
Anyway, after we layed the carpet down, Morgan stayed and we just sat and talked for a while.
About music, books, girls, movies, working out, you name it. We conversed and it was great. It was nice to spend some time with some one other than the people I see every day of my life. It was nice to have company.
And at one point Morgan paused and said "Where did I get gum?" See, at some point, either before or after entering my room, he had started chewing a piece of gum. But he didn't remember putting it in his mouth, how long he had been chewing it, where he got it, or even what flavor it had been. There was no wrapper in his pocket, and we never solved this mystery. Very odd, indeed.

Sometimes I wear a bracelet on one arm. It ends up on the other. I never remember having switched it over, but reason states that it must have been done. I never undersood that.
I'm glad you got some cozyness underfoot.
