I am becoming quite the cinephile! I saw Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at midnight last week. I saw it again two days later. I saw Thor on Tuesday. Then I saw The Hangover Part 2 at its midnight opening last night. Four times in a week. That is the most theater going I have ever done in such a short span of time. It's been fun though. It's a good way to pass the time and a nice way to break the monotony of early summer.
More information for potential summer employment: I got a phone call yesterday from Family Video. I had filled out an application and submitted it online about a week or so ago and they are interested in doing an interview with me, which is going to be held tomorrow at noon. Beggers can not be choosers and at this point I'd be happy just to find a summer job anywhere, but Family Video would be my first choice of employment in Marshall, so I feel very fortunate to have an interview there. My hopes aren't through the roof about getting the position there, but there is a chance and for that I am happy. Next to a book or music store (of which we have neither in Marshall) a movie store seems to be right up my alley.
So, keep your fingers crossed for me. Wish me luck, and hopefully this will pan out well.
That's all for this post.
Love.
