So, I'm reading "The Help".
And upon finishing the chapter I was one I had to take a break.
Like, for real.
The emotional strain of that one chapter was more than most entire books that I've read.
Just in case someone is reading this who hasn't read the book and intends to (doubtful), I won't give any major spoilers away.
For my loyal reader who has read it I will say: Celia. Bathroom scene. Whoa.
I'm pretty sure that is enough to know what I mean. And boy, was it tense. Don't get me wrong. It was gripping and I didn't want to stop reading in the middle. But after finishing the scene it was like "Okay, I'm gonna do something else for a while."

I know exactly what you mean. It broke my heart. She feels so... unworthy. And her husband loves her so much! But she hates herself so much that she doesn't even see that.
I really want to read this and/or see the movie.
