Kendra and I had a nice dinner. We got to J. Gumbos and right as we sat down Kendra said "I love this place. My boyfriend and I are in a competition to see who can fill up their stamp card first."
That definitely cleared some things up. As much as I generally disapprove of getting prior knowledge about a person I know in person on facebook I did check out her profile to see if her page said she was in a relationship. It did not. However, she is. I can not say I am disappointed. I did go into it a bit uncertain what to expect in the first place. We had good food and good conversation. I'm glad she asked me to dinner, and in a way I am glad I construed it as a date. I got a bit excited. Kendra is intelligent and pretty. I suppose I believed a smart and pretty girl could be interested in me. It's been a while since that was the case, but I have more confidence than I realized that that is still the case. And the fact that I was wrong didn't deflate that confidence. Go me.
I'm just hanging out back in my room now. I played some Borderlands on Nathan's Playstation. Jerrod is here hanging out and doing some homework and I'm about to do the same. I'm going to read some Shakespeare and depending on how I feel perhaps get a start on some other work as well.
My first real counseling session is tomorrow morning. I went to financial aid today and applied for a loan to cover my costs for this semester. I'm feeling really good and feel like this semester is starting off as it should.
Here's to continued success.
Peace. :)
