I think my cold is gone! I weathered it and didn't let it hold me back too much. I made sure to get enough sleep to allow my immune system to do its job, which is combating ill-health.

I'm sitting in my new room in the Pickerl Penthouse. Sixth floor. I'm rooming with Nathan Hewitt this semester, and I'm pretty stoked about that. Last night there were 13 people in our room watching a movie. No big deal. I'll tell you what, the honors crowd is really a pretty great group of people. The students in the program, the professors...everyone. I'm SO glad I decided to be an honors student here at school.

This semester is going to be pretty good. It has the potential to be one of the best semesters I've had yet. I'm going to have to stay up on things and kick my own ass sometimes, but with the support group I have and with me staying firm in my personal resolutions it won't be too tough.
