In which I talk about working, Shakespeare, my car, and my best friend.

I'm at home alone, as per this spring break routine. Today I decided to be productive and knock out a chunk of my Shakespeare job for Dr. Derrick. It's really pretty easy. I wouldn't say it is fun, really, but it is isn't strenuous and it isn't a bad way to pass the time, all things considered. It is a good job to have as an English major. It will be a good thing to be able to put on my resume. PLUS, I'm getting paid for it. That is pretty darn cool. A lot of people have to work jobs they don't enjoy and get no satisfaction from just to get by...I am very lucky that isn't the case for me.

I need to get a hold of Randy at Randy's Auto and figure out getting my car fixed. I need a new fuel pump put on it, and until that takes place I am vehicle-less. I don't really have the funds to pay outright at the moment, but I'm sure we'll be able to work out payments. Even so, it is going to be $50 just to have it towed up to the shop, and with it not being an absolute necessity, I can't see doing that just so I'll have a car to run around while I'm on spring break. And with gas being as high as it is, it might be better off without it, all things considered.

However, if I did have a car I'd be in Centralia with my Paige Jenae Bauer. She called me last night from the hospital. I tell you, that girl always has something going wrong with her. She said "Since you are one spring break you know you could come down and see me..." And I told her if it wasn't for my car being out of commission I would already be there. She said that she believed me. I told her she had better.

That's all I feel compelled to blog about for the time being.
