A different kind of writing than usual

I'm beginning to write a prose work. The format I have in mind currently is a sequence of short stories that can be read individually or as a whole to create a sort of patchwork for a larger story. I've written the preface and I am going to set to work on an outline for the stories themselves. I've never really undertaken a writing like this. I have conceptualized this kind of thing, but never have I been so certain I actually wanted to go through with bringing it to life. I am not one for outlines, usually. Anytime I've ever had to write any kind of paper for class I would just start typing and let the words flow and put them into some semblance of order and call it good. And it usually is. But this is different. I do have ideas in my head and I want to get them out and make them better and mold them into what they are meant to be. I should post as I write. We'll see.

Peace.
Love.
Smile.
