Human.

We live below the birds,
But we act the parts of gods.
Building up and tearing down
All the things we know and love.

The human being in me is a great hyperbole
Of an animal statement, long ago created
In the furnace that fashioned the tiger and the lamb.

Emotions play out in the capacity of fear,
And emotions play out in the capacity of hope.
Emotions play out, but this is not a game.
Emotions play out and we tell ourselves we're great

We live below the birds
But we act the parts of gods
Building up and tearing down
All the things we know and love.

sometimes I don't like a repeated ending, but I really liked that. It felt like the only way to end it, and it seemed to just make the statement more important.

I really like it. There is hardly anything about it that I don't like. It really captures what humans think of themselves in the since that we are this big strong beings, but really we are powerless. Beautiful!
