RING RING RING A LING A LING!

" 'morning."

" 'morning."

"I'm off to class."

"See you later."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Nine a.m. is too early.
No, nine a.m. isn't too early.
Anytime is too early to go to class straight from getting out of bed.
You have to do 30 hours of volunteer work. All work and volunteer work must be complete or you won't pass this class.
The instructor in this class is attractive. She's in her 30s. Forty, tops. She is very intelligent and well spoken but in a very accessible way. She isn't over or under dressed. Having her has the instructor will make this, my earliest class, more tolerable than it may have otherwise been.
Prescriptive grammar isn't the be all, end all of intelligence indicators.
Words are beautiful. Judgement is best reserved, or not at all. I talk good english; you speak proper English. Okay?
It really bothered me that Linda found it relevant enough to share with the class that she's addicted to words with friends within seconds of mentioning the Wikipedia blackout, but not important enough to mention why it was blacked out in the first place. She didn't even call it a black out. She said they were on strike. To be misinformed and to gloss over what is happening in regards to SOPA and the war being waged for our freedom is willful ignorance and doesn't speak for the intelligence I know she possesses. I respect Dr. Maule. But class as a whole today left me dissatisfied.
Ellen, Nick, and myself had a good discussion on Christianity, truth, doubt, faith, and how we choose to structure our lives in regards to each of these things. Nick is such a genuine, easy going guy. It's always a pleasure to speak with him. I hope we can hang out again this semester, more. Ellen is really an interesting girl. She's smart, beautiful, and very confident in herself and her beliefs. I wrote her off as being a little snooty last year, especially when Nik was infatuated with her. But there are times when she truly shines, and she shines bright. After class interactions keep me going sometimes.
The woman at the financial aid office was very helpful.
"Shakespeare is so hard to read."
"You mean by yourself? Yeah. It's easier when you hear it out loud."
"I would definitely agree with that. I think I'll try to find the play on youtube."
"That's a good idea. That's the great thing about Shakespeare or classical composers...no copyrights it's all legal to share for free."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I was kind of over dressed for dinner. But no more so than when I took Madeline to J. Gumbos. I like to look good regardless of who I am going out with. I don't need to be wooing a girl to look nice. I just...like looking nice. Saw Truman while out to eat. That was nice; it had been a minute. Also, I need to start changing it up when it comes to what I eat at J. Gumbos. I have never been a person to eat the same thing every time. That Jean Lafitte bowl is just SO good. Next time I'll get Chicken Red Hot or Drunken Chicken. Promise.

Coffee Grounds. Cold. Tyler might have mono but his poem for his creative writing class was really good. Kaylee doesn't like me; she thinks I'm weird. And that's fine. Met Andy. Met Cole. Some jokes are best told to select people, and perhaps not at all. Crazy running kid. Inspiring ideas for fiction. It's late. I need to sleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I think I'm going to try to get some sleep guys; don't mind me."
"Alright."
"Okay."
"We'll try to keep it down."
"No worries, I'll sleep regardless of how loud you are."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Goodnight.

Was this kind of like a train of thought before bedtime? That's kind of creative. Some parts were less... interesting? than others, but it moved quickly and fluidly for such drastic topic changes.
